What is a Case Converter?
A case converter changes how letters are capitalized. This tool runs in your browser. Choose a conversion and the text in the box is replaced, so you can apply another conversion right away without reloading the page.
How to use Case Converter
Paste or type text, then press a conversion button. The box updates in place. Use Undo to restore the previous version after a conversion, Copy Text to copy the current text, or Clear Text to start over.
Uppercase vs lowercase
UPPERCASE turns every cased letter into a capital. lowercase does the opposite. Letters without upper and lower forms, such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or Thai, stay as they are. Latin and Cyrillic follow the browser’s Unicode case conversion for the page language.
Title Case
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of each word. On English pages, short words such as “and”, “of”, and “the” stay lowercase in the middle of a title. This is a practical web utility, not a full publishing style like AP or Chicago.
Sentence case
Sentence case lowercases the text, then capitalizes the first letter of each sentence. Sentences are split on marks such as . ! ? and, where useful, 。!?. Names, brands, and abbreviations are not detected automatically.
Privacy
Your text stays in the browser. It is not sent to NEXNARA servers and is not saved in cookies, local storage, or a database.
FAQ
What is Title Case?
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of most words. On English pages, small connecting words in the middle of a title stay lowercase. Hyphenated words are capitalized on each side of the hyphen.
What is Sentence case?
Sentence case uses lowercase for most letters and a capital at the start of each sentence. It looks at . ! ? and similar marks. It does not try to keep proper nouns or brand names.
Does Case Converter work with non-English text?
Yes. Conversion uses the page language when the browser supports locale-aware case mapping, including Turkish dotted and dotless i. Scripts without case, such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai, are left intact.
Is my text uploaded to a server?
No. The text stays in your browser for this tool and is not uploaded, stored, or sent to analytics.
Can I undo a conversion?
Yes. Undo restores the text from immediately before the last conversion. Clear Text also clears that previous state. Typing in the box still uses the browser’s own undo where the browser provides it.
