What is Remove Duplicate Lines?
This tool takes a list of lines and keeps the first time each line appears. Later copies are dropped. The work happens in your browser, and the original order of first appearances is kept.
How duplicate line removal works
Press Remove Duplicates after you paste text and set options. Lines are split on line breaks, compared with a fast lookup, and the first original line for each match is kept. Results are not sorted alphabetically.
Case-sensitive vs case-insensitive
By default, Apple, apple, and APPLE are different lines. Turn on case-insensitive comparison to treat them as the same line. The first original spelling is kept; the result is not forced to lowercase.
Ignoring spaces
Leading and trailing spaces can make two lines look different. With that option on, comparison uses a trimmed copy, but the first kept line is still printed as you typed it, including its spaces.
Common uses
People use this to clean pasted lists, email addresses, tags, or log lines before copying or downloading a unique list. Empty-line removal is optional if blank rows should stay or go.
Privacy
Your text stays in the browser. It is not sent to NEXNARA servers and is not saved in cookies, local storage, or a database.

Does this tool preserve line order?
Yes. The first time a line appears is kept, and later duplicates are removed. Lines are not sorted.
Can I ignore uppercase and lowercase differences?
Yes. Turn on case-insensitive comparison. Matching still keeps the first original line, including its capitalization.
Can I ignore spaces when checking duplicates?
Yes. Leading and trailing spaces can be ignored for comparison only. The first kept line is not trimmed in the result.
Does this tool upload my text?
No. The text stays in your browser for this tool and is not uploaded, stored, or sent to analytics.
How large a list can I process?
Tens or hundreds of thousands of lines usually work in the browser. Very large lists can make the tab pause briefly. There is no upload size limit because nothing is sent to a server.
