Resizing image…
What is an Image Resizer?
An image resizer changes the pixel width and height of a picture. This tool runs in your browser. The file format stays the same: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, and WebP stays WebP.
How to resize an image
- Drop an image onto the box, or choose a file from your device.
- Check the original size, then enter a new width and height, or pick a percentage or common size.
- Select Resize Image. Work happens on your device.
- Compare the result, then download the resized file or reset to start over.
Aspect ratio explained
Aspect ratio is the relationship between width and height. When lock aspect ratio is on, changing one side updates the other so the picture is not stretched. Turn the lock off if you want to set width and height independently.
Enlarging vs reducing image size
Making an image smaller usually keeps it looking clear. Making it larger does not add real detail, so it can look less sharp. This tool does not use AI upscaling.
Privacy
Resizing runs in your browser. The image you choose is not sent to NEXNARA servers.
Supported formats
You can use JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 20 MB. Other formats are not accepted. PNG files with a transparent background keep their transparency.
FAQ
Does resizing reduce image quality?
Reducing size can still look clear. Enlarging does not add missing detail, so the picture may look less sharp. JPG and WebP also use a default output quality of 90%.
Can I enlarge an image?
Yes. You can enter a size larger than the original, or use a percentage such as 150% or 200%. Enlarging may reduce perceived sharpness.
What does lock aspect ratio mean?
When it is on, changing width updates height, and changing height updates width, using the original proportions. Turn it off to set each side on its own.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The image stays in your browser for this tool and is not uploaded to NEXNARA.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Files larger than 20 MB are rejected. PNG transparency is kept.
